The rules for using Casana. Please read them carefully.

1. What Casana is
Casana is solely a meeting place between independent workers (home and trade workers) and households in the city of Cancún, Quintana Roo. We are not a placement agency, we are not an employer, and we are not a party to any working relationship.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be of legal age to create an account. One verified identity corresponds to a single account and a single role. You are responsible for the information you provide and for the activity on your account. The service is limited to the city of Cancún.
3. Identity verification
Verification confirms a person's identity (for example with an INE or passport and a selfie). The Verified badge confirms identity — it is not a guarantee of anyone's conduct, honesty or performance. Identity verification is free; registering and using the platform is free.
4. The worker–employer relationship
The working relationship, payment and any agreement are made directly and exclusively between the worker and the employer. Casana does not intervene in, guarantee or supervise those agreements. We never take a commission on wages.
5. Payments
Some optional services have a cost, such as identity verification and the connection services for employers (Guaranteed Connection). Prices are shown before you pay. Payments to workers for their services are made directly between the parties, outside the platform.
Connection services — charge and guarantee: when you request a connection service, a hold is authorized on your card. Chats open as candidates accept. The charge is completed and the sale is FINAL the moment your first conversation opens. The guarantee covers the connections, not the hiring decision: if no candidate accepts within the service window, no charge is made. If you connected but did not find the right person, you are entitled to ONE (1) free rebooking every 4 hours — it unlocks each time the 4-hour response window ends without a response — with new candidates. There are no refunds once the first conversation has opened.
6. Conduct and the Forum
Use the platform respectfully and lawfully. The Forum is self-moderating: content may be hidden by community reports, and users who break the rules may be banned for life. Do not post false information, scams, or content that puts others at risk.
7. Ratings and reviews
Ratings and reviews are user opinions, not statements by Casana.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Casana is not liable for damages, losses, theft, injuries or disputes arising from relationships initiated through the platform. Each user is responsible for taking their own precautions: interviews, references, and the access they grant to their home.
9. IMSS reminder
Mexican law requires households to enroll their domestic workers in the IMSS (social security).

11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; we will post the date of the last update. These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico and the state of Quintana Roo.
