Who checks my ID, and is it secure?
The check is run by a trusted third-party identity provider using the current industry-standard KYC (“Know Your Customer”) process — the same kind of online ID verification that banks and fintech apps use. Casana never sees or stores your documents; we only receive the verified result and your first name.
Is this the same as Guaranteed Connection?
No — two different things. Verification is your badge (a free annual check). Guaranteed Connection is a separate service for homes that want candidates with guaranteed conversations.
I'm a foreigner — can I verify?
Yes — your passport works just like an INE. The process is identical.
The rules, clear
One person, one profile. Your name must match your ID — after verifying, your first name is locked. Badges are removed for fraud. Verification confirms identity; it doesn't guarantee hires.
We help you face-to-face — free
At our community events we verify you in person: bring your ID and we do the rest. We'll also help with any profile questions.
